Indian walnut kernels are graded by color and size: Light Halves (Premium), Light Broken, Light Amber Halves, and Amber Halves. Light kernels are the most sought after for retail and snacking due to their mild flavor and aesthetic appeal.
Our walnuts are exclusively sourced from the high-altitude orchards of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. The cold Himalayan climate produces walnuts with a rich nuttiness and high Omega-3 content that is superior to many lowland varieties.
Walnuts have a high oil content and are sensitive to heat. We recommend cold storage at 2-8°C with relative humidity below 60%. For export, we use vacuum-sealed nitrogen-flushed packaging to prevent rancidity and maintain crunch for 12+ months.
