FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, Indian bananas are available for export throughout the year. Due to the diverse climatic zones in India, we can maintain a steady supply of high-quality bananas regardless of the month.
We use dedicated reefer containers maintained at a strict temperature of 13.5°C with controlled ventilation and humidity. This 'cold chain' management is critical for halting the ripening process during sea transit.
The Grand Naine (G9) and Cavendish varieties are our primary export products. They are highly sought after in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe for their uniform size, long fingers, and excellent shelf life.
Bananas are packed in 13.5kg or 18.5kg telescopic corrugated boxes. Each bunch is protected with polyethylene foam or 'polytubes' to prevent bruising. Under proper reefer conditions, they have a shelf life of 25 to 30 days.
