FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The primary harvest and export season for Indian Amla is from October to January. During these winter months, the fruit attains its maximum Vitamin C content and the ideal size for both fresh use and processing.
Amla is a hardy fruit but requires controlled conditions for long-distance export. We ship in refrigerated containers at 5-8°C with proper ventilation. This prevents moisture loss and ensures the fruit remains firm and nutrient-dense upon arrival.
We export premium commercial varieties including 'NA-7' (large, low fiber), 'Chakaiya', and 'Kanchan'. These are selected for their uniform shape, high juice content, and suitability for pharmaceutical and culinary applications.
Amla is typically packed in 5kg or 10kg corrugated cartons or ventilated plastic crates. Under reefer storage (5-8°C), fresh Indian Amla has an export shelf life of approximately 20 to 30 days.
